Makes 4 servings
1 (8 ounce)
package angel hair pasta
1/2 cup olive oil (or coconut oil)
1 pat butter
4 cloves garlic (optional)
1 medium onion, chopped (substitute
4 chopped shallots for onions and garlic)
1 pound shrimp (jumbo), peeled and deveined, tails off
Juice 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup dry white wine
teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnigh
red pepper flakes
Grated parmesan cheese
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Stir in pasta and
return pot to boil. Cook until al dente. Drain well.
2. Melt butter with olive oil in a large sauce pan over medium
heat. Stir in onions, black pepper and Italian seasoning. Saute until onions are soft.
3. Stir in garlic (optional)
Stir in shrimp. Cook until shrimp is turning pink in color (about 3 minutes)
5. Add lemon juice and white wine. Bring
to a boil and cook until reduced to a nice sauce (about 2 min.)
